Floyd Mayweather owes Manny Pacquiao more than $113,000 stemming from defamation lawsuit

A federal judge has ordered Floyd Mayweather to pay more than $113,000 to Manny Pacquiao for skipping a series of court-ordered deposition dates in 2011, Courthouse News reported Tuesday afternoon.

The deposition dates in question are related to a defamation suit filed by Pacquiao, claiming Mayweather told journalists the Filipino fighter uses performance-enhancing drugs.

When Mayweather was supposed to sit for deposition between June and October last year, he never showed. In a demand for sanctions last year, Pacquiao told the court that Mayweather was photographed at nightclubs across the country, dancing, drinking and burning money, all while claiming that he was too busy training.

“Mayweather decided that he, not the court, would determine if and when his deposition would take place,” according to the motion. “Busy living the ‘luxurious lifestyle non-stop,’ ‘pour[ing] champagne for [his] friends,’ and keeping the company of ‘attractive women,’ Mayweather refused to be deposed. He disobeyed properly served deposition notices, filed specious ‘emergency’ motions, openly defied this court’s order directing him to appear, and serially misrepresented his whereabouts to Pacquiao and this court. Exposing Mayweather’s untruths was a massive — and expensive — undertaking.”

    OU was without 13 STARTERS against UTEP, the same thing that happened to them late in the season last year when all worhttp://www.shoesmallshop.com/ld receiver Ryan Broyles was lost for the season, then all but 1 wide receiver, the leading rusher, the All American defensive end, the all big xll d backs and linebacker and all of a sudden, a world beater team becomes just an above average team. OU is getting people healthy now, and hopefully can stay healthy this

    That's not true at all. Floyd wanted PAcman to take the test within 30 days of the flight, Even the Boxing commissions rules State NO fighter is to take a test within 30 days of a fight. However they can take the test After the fight is over. The reason for 30 days is because blood test will weaken a person.  To deem him guilty of using drugs before proof is down right disgusting. Floyd knows his record is in jeopardy if he fights Pacman and has done EVERYTHING he could to avoid the flight.  He's a dirt Bag.

     @JackBriss You seem pretty bitter about the man!!! Boxers these days are not the same as back in the day!! They dont take that big fight right away until they made enough money... Floyd is playing the game... If he can keep getting 10-20 mil  per fight without putting his record on the line so be it he's smart... Make your last fight your big big money or just go out on top and have everybody that hates you talk trash about...

    Why do peeps hate Floyd so much?  If Pacman was so clean he would take the test with no issues RIGHT?  I say just fight and get it over with, no rounds just a full out brawl... Both of them need to just suck it up and fight... As for this lil court order... Its wack it's called freedom of speech and say whatever he want about the man.. If its not true why you tripping PACMAN???

     @Mack Jenkins  I don't have hate for Flyod but the PED rumor is just that, a rumor.  Pacman had no issue with taking a blood test, it was the amount of random tests during training and a fight day blood test which he demanded of none of his prior opponents. Floyd turned down a 14day pre fight RBT cutoff date  for Manny but accepted a 18 day for Mosley?

     

    No credible source has ever come forward about Manny taking PEDs but Floyd was caught using xylocaine which isn't tested for in the Nevada commission, I would say Floyd has been ducking this fight and causing a lot of the hate towards him in doing so, its only an opinion but one backed up by Floyds actions

    $113,000 ?Chicken feed!!!! Floyd had burnt more than that amount!! that's nothing  for Floyd, For Manny is a huge amount. it will help him to finance his project, building houses for the victims of the recent floods in his home town in Sarangani Province  called" Pacland Village"and I am sure Manny will tell his people that the money was donated by Mr. Floyd Mayweather...

    Pay up Floyd! This case has been delayed long enough by FMJ. No excuses this time. You're not above the law and nothing you could do to derail the proceedings. The burden of proof is on you FMJ, prove that Pacquiao is using PEDs and this will go away but no way in the world you can because simply put Pacquiao is not on PEDs. You should have not run your filthy mouth like that, jealousy my friend is a killer. Jail time is on the horizon or pay up!

    This action of the court serves Mayweather well. They should expedite this case so that this man will realize that talking trash without any basis is bad for his health! I hope he will be jailed longer or pay an excessive amount to Pacquaio for his ill mannered accusations!
